We are Splendor Bin, an action/adventure rock band from Pennsylvania.

We hate trying to describe what we sound like, so we won't. Besides, that's what all of the music critics in the world are for, and we'd hate to think we put anyone out of a job. We do, on the other hand, like to talk about and listen to music a holehelluvalot. If you were to suddenly pop into one of our rooms, the law of averages says we'd probably be sleeping. But if we weren't, we might be listening to Texas is the Reason, Unwound, Karate, or maybe Trans-Am. We wouldn't compare ourselves to any of these bands, they're just good to listen to.

We try to make music that a)requires some thought from both the band and our listeners, and b)is fun to play. Now for some basic facts. There are four people in our band. Nyles plays bass and is our team mascot. Bill IV and I (Kwame) handle right and left guitars, respectively. We also do most of the singing. Our drummer is called Jason. He pretty much dictated the previous paragraph to me because I was on autopilot. He is gone now. He or Bill may change or erase this before you read it. Our band is based in Philadelphia and has existed in its current state for about two years.

You can order our CD from two places that we know of on the net, Toneburst Record Shop, and CD-NOW.

Thanks for visiting our site. Sit tight for online clips from the record (and maybe even a few we haven't released yet), show dates, and other nonsense. Also, be on the lookout for our new 7", "We're Now In the Lightning Round", due out in the new year on ITU (Interplanetary Trucker's Union), as well as our rendition of Jim Carroll's (Basketball Diaries) "Them" on 'Put Your Tongue to the Rail' - a collection of Jim's songs due out on RockSlut Records in late spring. Take it sleazy.

We want to hear from you:
