Bellevue is a band with 2 constants and infinite variables. The two contants are permanent members John Neri (primary: bass) and Chris Shepherd (primary: guitar). Both play many other instruments on recordings and live, and an ever changing cast of supporting characters have been known to play with them over the years.

Their first CD release, "SMILE", came out in October of 1999. Previously the band had recorded literally hundreds of minutes of music to DAT to give out as demo tapes dating back to early 1992.
